The Year of the Dragon...these words roll easily off the tongue. Maybe because of all the signs of the Chinese zodiac, the dragon, with its fantastical shape and fiery power, seems to have garnered the most fame, the most notoriety, the most reverence. So it is with great honour and auspiciousness that the Caribbean Chinese Association will be celebrating its 35th Anniversary in the Year of the Dragon. We hope you have saved the date of April 14, as it promises to be a night of great excitement at the prestigious Angus Glen Golf Club in Unionville. Dinner will be a sumptuous buffet. We'll take you down memory lane with a multimedia show that also looks very much to the future of our community. You will also be entertained by some very special talents. The evening's theme is "Connections"; we'll recall the role of the CCA as the organization that connected members to friends - old and new, to family - near and far, to our new Canadian home, and to the lands of our birth. The event's colours of hot Caribbean coral and regal Chinese jade are the colours for a 35th anniversary and the perfect marriage of our heritage. We look forward to celebrating with you.  A portion of proceeds will be used in support of basic schools in Jamaica via CCA's charitable fundraising body, CCA Cares.

There are two grand prizes to be drawn during the night - 2 round trip tickets to Jamaica; 1 week all-inclusive stay at Holiday Inn Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Please send an email to events@caribbeanchinese.ca for ticket information.
