I am the grandson of a Chinese Jamaican national and I live in the United Kingdom. I am hoping you can help me locate my grandfather. Mr CHAN, Fook-Loi, aka "Billie". He is of Hakka origin. He was born in Jamaica in the early 1930's. It is probable that he came from the Manchester/St Elizabeth/Trelawney area. I believe his mother's name was Violet Chang and she was childhood friends with my maternal grandmother, Ivy Clarke from Trelawney... click on "Robert (Bugs) Lee" on the left.
