The cost of living here has gone up a bit like everywhere else. A coconut cost .25 cents back in 2005 and it now cost .40 cents. A bag of cement was $5 and it went to $11 but now it is back to $8. I first met Mrs. Lee and the Lee Family when my Dad moved us to 132 Barry Street when I was about 13 years old. The Lee Family lived next door where they printed the Jung Sang Bow, Jamaica’s only Chinese newspaper at 130 Barry Street. I became a good friend of Denise’s and got to know the family very well.
