Herman Chin

Obituary
Herman Anthony Chin (aka "the Germon"), 72, devoted husband, father and grandfather, died peacefully in his sleep on December 7, 2016, dreaming of his next trip home to Jamaica. He was known by his loved ones as a sun worshiper, talented sewing machine mechanic, die-hard poker player, domino slammer, soccer coach extraordinaire, shoe connoisseur and skilled cultivator of scotch bonnet pepper trees.

We will miss his larger than life laugh, his ever present Jamaican patois and, of course, his big belly! He and his wife, Lola, forged a new life in Canada and will always be remembered for giving their children and grandchildren a chance to grow and build their own lives.
